Fred Heutte helped found the NW Energy Coalition and was on the board for several years, returning in 2011 as senior policy associate, with a focus on power and transmission planning and markets in the Northwest and Western Interconnection. Currently he serves on the elected Member Advisory Committee of WECC (Western Electricity Coordinating Council) and the Energy Strategy Advisory Group of the Oregon Department of Energy.
